Galvanic Isolation
The SEM203TC temperature transmitter provides an ideal solution to generate the industry standard 4 to 20mA signal from a thermocouple temperature probe.
Used with a thermocouple simulator to simulate the temperature, a simple push button operation selects thermocouple type, ranges and calibrates the temperature transmitter at 4 and 20mA, eliminating the need for soldering links, potentiometers or computer programming.
If the range is not specified then the transmitter will be shipped with the default range of Type K 0 to 1000 °C
High accuracy and stability coupled with the flexibility of reduced stock holding and the quick and easy way of re-ranging makes the SEM203 the ideal choice for the majority of temperature measurement requirements.
The SEM203TC is linearised to temperature and accepts most common thermocouple types. Isolation between input and output is also provided.
An on board LED indicates the successful completion of the range programming and also provides an instant indication of sensor health.
