OUR STANDARDS

Quality has always been a key element in the success of Status Instruments, having operated a formal quality system since its early days. In those days, registration was in accordance with British Standard 5750 part 1 which was achieved in 1989.

Currently Status has a quality system approved by the British Standards Institute to BS EN ISO9001:2000 and all products are designed to comply with current EC directives and their associated national standards and regulations. Many also comply with Underwriters Laboratories requirements.

Our development processes include rigorous type testing to verify compliance, using outside test laboratories for confirmation where appropriate.
